Hi there lovelies! Today I wanted to do a post about what I’ve been purchasing lately and create a mini haul from it. I love watching haul videos or seeing what people have been buying because it’s inspiration to see what’s in stores at the moment. So here’s my mini haul from Target and Forever 21!
One of the items from Target that I bought was a new hairspray that I wanted to try out. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about this spray and I can’t wait to see if it works to keep my hairstyles in place. I bought the level 4 hold spray and I’ll keep you all posted on if it works out or not.
Next up is this new eyeliner I purchased. Like I said in my Monthly Product Review for May, I have sensitive eyes and I’m prone to allergic reactions with eyeliners and mascaras so it’s a little scary whenever I try out new eye products. However, I have hope that this won’t give me a reaction and I’m curious to see if this is a good eyeliner or not. I bought this because I always use black eyeliner and I wanted a brown one for those days when I want a more natural looking eye or when I want to line my waterline but I don’t want it to be too harsh like it would be with a black eyeliner.
This is an oldie but a goodie. I used this mascara about 5 years ago while I was still in high school and I remembered that I liked it and it gave a lot of volume but not a lot of length. Now that it’s been 5 years, I got nostalgic and I wanted to try this again to see if I still liked it.
This eyeliner is a product that I’ve trusted since I was in high school. It’s a creamy black eyeliner that I use literally every day. It can smudge underneath the eyes at times, but it’s not very noticeable. It’s very easy to use and I’ve never had a reaction with this liner.
I purchased this E.L.F shader brush for eyeshadow. I used to have another one that I bought years ago but it was coming loose at the metal part so I threw it away and I finally got around to repurchasing it. Personally, I prefer the $3 studio one, but for a buck, you can’t really beat the quality and price because it’s pretty good for only being a dollar.
This is a top coat that I purchased because the one I have now is getting old so I needed a new one to replace it. I’ve never tried this one but I want to see if it works because it’s supposed to be a fast drying top coat.
After losing an earring each from my two absolute favorite stud earrings at the time, I’ve been on the hunt to find an exact match to replace them but with no luck, which led me to buy this set of earrings instead. It’s not the same, but I really like these earrings too and I think they’ll go with most of my outfits.
I’m not a bracelet person, but I decided to buy these bracelets from Forever 21 because of their Memorial Day sale. I don’t really like bracelets because I get lazy with wearing them, but I realized that I usually prefer wearing one or two bracelets at a time so I’ll probably won’t layer these together and just wear them on their own.
–Shown in the first picture of this post is also a necklace I bought that’s a little different than I thought it would look but it still has the dainty delicate look I was going for. I used to wear silver and gold jewelry and then switched to a gold phase because I thought silver looked bad with my skin tone and now I’ve added silver jewelry to my collection again just because I feel like it. This necklace is simple and easy to pair with many outfits, so I’m glad I picked this out.
—I also purchased some black leggings but that’s not that important so I didn’t photograph them (although I like the quality of Forever 21’s leggings for the price).
So that’s it for my mini haul! I hope you guys can gain some sort of inspiration from this and maybe I gave you some ideas on what to buy next. Let me know what you’ve been buying and liking recently in the comment section below! Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
