Hello lovelies! Today I thought I’d share with you how to make one of my favorite desserts: chocolate-covered peanut butter banana bites! They’re sweet and salty as well as a much healthier alternative to other desserts such as ice cream or cake. So here’s how I make them!
– 2 ripe bananas
– Peanut butter
– 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
First, peel the bananas and cut the ends off. After that, slice them into medium slices for the perfect “bite-size” size.
After that, you can do one of two things: you can create peanut butter banana sandwiches with the slices or leave them open-faced. I decided to leave them open-faced so that there would be more. I spread a small dollop of peanut butter over each slice and arranged them on a plate.

When you’re finished with all the banana slices, place the plate into the freezer until they’re firm. This usually takes a couple hours.
Now at this point, you could eat them as is, but you can also add chocolate. So melt however much chocolate you need (try starting off with about 1/3 cup) and then either dip them or add some on top with a spoon like I did here.
When you’re finished, put the plate of banana bites back into the freezer. Once the chocolate hardens up, it’s ready to eat! This can last for a while in the freezer, but in my experience, they don’t last long because I always eat them so quickly.
And that’s all you have to do! It’s simple but delicious and healthy; it’s also perfect for the warm summer months.
