Hello lovelies, this week on Wishlist Wednesday, I wanted to talk about running shoes. I’ve been doing some research on running shoes lately because I have “weird” feet. Okay, let me explain before you assume the worst, haha.

It’s always been hard for me to find shoes that fit my feet. I have wide feet and after looking into it, I realized I also have overpronated feet.

Overpronation is when your feet have a low arch and they have a tendency to roll inwards/the weight is on the inner part of your foot. This increases the risk of certain injuries because it can be easier to sprain/twist your ankle or create other injuries related to physical activity.

Because of those issues, I feel like I’ve never been able to find the perfect pair of shoes, especially when it comes to running shoes. After some research, I found a couple pairs of shoes that I think would help with my feet as well as look nice.

This is the pair of shoes I’ve been eyeing for a while now. This is the Nike Lunarglide 6. I read in several articles that this was one of the top shoes for overpronation. The only downside to buying these shoes is that I don’t think they have them in Wide so I’m not sure if they would be a perfect fit for me.

This is the other pair of shoes that caught my eye when I was searching for shoes that would help with my overpronation. It’sย the Nike Air Zoom Structure 18. Stability is important when it comes to feet that overpronate because the arch needs more support and these shoes can apparently give this when you wear them. These are a bit more expensive than the previous pair of shoes, but I do think it’s important to invest in things such as good shoes because we’re constantly wearing them every time we leave the house.

So what’s the verdict? I probably won’t be buying either pair of these shoes, hence why they’re on my wishlist, but I hope I do get to purchase them one day.

So that’s what’s on my wishlist this week! I hope this post was helpful in some way and gave you an idea of what kinds of shoes are out there if you deal with the same issues with your feet as I do. Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
