MAKEUP MONDAY: SENSATIONAL LASHES

Hello lovelies! Sorry I missed a day at the end of last week; it was a really hectic week so I didn’t have enough time to post, but I did get a lot of content that I’m excited to share with you all in the next week or so!

Anyways, this week on Makeup Monday, I wanted to do another product review on the Lash Sensational by Maybelline.

Maybelline is probably one of my favorite brands from the drugstore for mascara; I’ve tried so many of their mascaras from the Falsies, Lash Stiletto, Colossal, and so on. I’ve probably used the Colossal for years now and it’s the one I always go back to, but I’ve noticed that it does take a lot of layering to get the mascara to show up on my lashes.

I was skeptical about trying out the Lash Sensational because there were a lot of good reviews so it seemed too good to be true, but I wanted to test it out.

MY LASH TYPE:

Short, thin, and straight

MY THOUGHTS:

I think it’s actually a really good mascara. It loads product onto your lashes quicker than the Colossal so it cuts down time on my makeup routine and it gives volume and length, which is always a great thing.

The mascara isn’t too wet, so it’s able to hold my curl, and the wand helps to add product to my lashes while separating them at the same time. I also actually like the brush even though I’m not accustomed to using rubber wands, but the curve on this one really helps with applying the product.

The only issue I have with this product is that when it starts to dry out, it gets a little difficult to open the tube, but in a way, I guess that would be a sign that it’s running out.

So the rave reviews seem to be right! I would definitely recommend this mascara if you have short, thin lashes like mine.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it’s helpful to some of you! Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
