Hello lovelies! Today’s post is going to be a part of my Inspired series. This series basically revolves around being inspired by quotes, fashion, photography, and so on.

What’s been inspiring me lately is this coloring book. It’s seemingly a “new trend,” even though we probably all had a coloring book of our own back then, but in those days, they were just pictures of Barbies and superheroes and cartoons.

Now, it looks as though coloring books have stepped up their game. With intricate designs and complicated patterns, these coloring books are not for children; they’re actual adult coloring books. I don’t know how long adult coloring books have been around, but I feel like they’ve become a thing recently because of how aesthetically appealing they are.

These adult coloring books are meant to relieve stress while being able to create art after coloring in these amazingly-drawn pictures. Personally, I think it actually stresses me out more because I really want the drawings to look really pretty; however, it’s easy to get lost in coloring these intricate drawings once you get into it.

I would highly recommend trying out one of these books. It’s a little bit of an investment, but I think it’s worth the money. Plus, I feel like so much effort goes into making these books that it would be unfair if they were inexpensive.

So for those of you that are into the aesthetics, you should check them out. And if you’re looking to relieve some stress and can’t draw (like me), try this coloring book. If it doesn’t work out, you could always pass it on to a little kid, although they probably won’t be as good at staying in the lines.

I hope this post possibly inspired you to pick up a coloring book or awakened your artistic senses or something like that, haha. Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies next week!
