Hello lovelies! For my last post of the week, I thought I would top it off by reviewing how my year went in terms of blogging. Keep reading if you want to find out more!

I started off this year strong with making resolutions and thinking that this would finally be the year where I would keep up with school and my blog.

I went on a couple of adventures that left me really hopeful for the upcoming year.

This lasted for about 2 months until school, work, and being a costume coordinator for one of my clubs dominated my life, making it impossible to blog.

I came back in July after going on summer vacation in May ready to go with new ideas. I believe this is the time where I also renovated my blog because I wanted a change, which made me even more excited to write since everything felt brand new again.

I went on some summer adventures as well, but not as many as I had hoped. I took some breaks from my blog during the summer, but I spent most of my days writing. Then I started the beginning of my senior year of college at the end of August.

September was my birthday month; I spent my actual birthday all day at school, but I did get treated out by my friend during one of my gaps between classes. 🙂 Since 21 is such an important age here in the states, I wrote about it here and it also included an OOTD!

In October, I made an announcement that I was making a big change to my blog. I “took a couple weeks off” to figure it all out; in reality, I was still on my blog almost daily, I just wasn’t posting. Instead, I was renovating my blog and getting it ready to relaunch.

In November, I announced my blog’s new name and the renovated site that I was finally super satisfied with! I actually bought the domain too, which was a big step for me in committing to this new name.

November was also the month of the presidential election, and I put together an OOTD with my thoughts on how I felt about the results which you can take a look at here.

Find this OOTD here!

I think I did pretty well with blogging in December, considering I was so stressed about finals week. I pulled 2 all nighters in one week where I was awake for about 40 hours both times, so I took a break from my blog to study. It all paid off though because I got all A’s and 1 B!

Plus, I realized that I had been posting on this blog for the last 6 months, even though I took some breaks! That’s a record for me, since I don’t think I’ve ever kept up with any of my side hobbies consistently!

I did an OOTD post on this outfit here!

And now here we are; we’ve finished celebrating Christmas and we just have New Year’s Eve to go!

I, for one, am extremely excited about leaving 2016 behind. I know it’s become a thing on social media to dislike this year, but I didn’t have the best 2016, so I’m ready to welcome 2017 with open arms. I don’t know what the next year will bring, but even if it doesn’t turn out to be better, I hope I can stay positive no matter what.

However, in terms of blogging, I think I had a pretty good year. I may not have posted consistently and I still have a long way to go to become a really good blogger, but this post shows that I accomplished something this year and I’m really happy about that. 🙂

If you made it to the end, thanks for reading and I hope you can be on my journey through 2017 and see where it takes us. I’ll see you lovelies in the new year!
