Happy Monday lovelies! Today’s post is going to be about one of the everyday makeup looks I’ve been wearing lately!

This is a look I’ve been doing for a while now because it’s easy to do and it adds definition to my eyes!

I’m not showing all the products I use on a daily basis because there would be too many, but these are the main stars of this makeup look.

Shown above is the Naked Basics palette, a Colourpop eyeshadow in the shade Un from Jenn Im’s collaboration, and a NYX soft matte lip cream in the color Cannes.

For the eyes, I use Un on the lid and then I use Naked 2 and Faint from the Naked Basics palette in my crease. Because I have hooded eyes, I’ve been practicing adding shadows slightly above my crease to create the look of less hooded eyes and to give more space for my lid colors.

For a natural look, I would use Naked 2 alone, but if I want more definition and a little more drama, then I’ll add Faint until I achieve my desired look.

My lip color will change depending on my mood, but the most natural looking shade I have that’s more on the matte side is Cannes from NYX. I’ve talked about this product several times on my blog, but it definitely deserves another mention!

It’s comfortable to wear, and it’s a my lips but better shade on me! It’s the color I always go to when I’m not sure what to wear, and since it is so natural on my lips, I don’t have to worry about how it looks throughout the day!

Besides these products, I feel like what also pulls this look together is winged eyeliner (I can’t live without my wings these days!) and some false lashes.

I’ve never been one to wear fake eyelashes, but I’ve been enjoying it lately on days when when I might be taking photos and special occasions. I’m wearing the natural Ardell lashes here; in my opinion, they look great in real life and for portraits, but in group photos and photoshoots that are a bit further from my face, you can’t really see my lashes. I also add mascara to my lashes to try to make them stand out more, but they’re still very natural on me.

Of course, I wear foundation on a regular basis to even out my skin (it’s been behaving lately though yay!), and my current go-to base is the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation! I also like to contour my nose and face occasionally, and I’ve been trying to go for a shaped but natural brow since I don’t think sharp brows suit my face.

And that finishes off one of the everyday makeup looks I’ve been doing! Not going to lie, my makeup takes a lot longer these days, but I think it’s worth it and it’s fun to play around with products and see the transformation every day!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
