Hi there lovelies! Today I wanted to finally do my annual review of another year of college along with a photo gallery! Sadly, this is the last time I’ll be able to do this type of post, but I’ll cherish every memory I made in college. ♥
Because of my living situation, I had a much less eventful year than I did in the past. I went out less and I didn’t have the crazy adventures that I looked forward to before. But that’s okay, because I got to indulge in my more introverted side and focus on my studies. In addition, I was able to find out who my real friends were during this time.
I don’t know if I’m expecting too much from people by basing friendships on communication. I feel like I’ve lost several friends from lack of communication. I know we all get busy, but sending a quick text message or planning a small catch-up session can’t be that difficult, can it? I’m not calling anyone out in specific; it’s just something I’ve wondered about for years as I’ve noticed friendships coming and going.
Often, I’ve felt like the one that has to reach out first, but I don’t know if I’m just overthinking it. I think it also has to do with the fact that these days, a lot of friendships and relationships tend to play games by ignoring each other. If you miss someone, then tell them. If you want to hang out with someone, then call/text them and make plans. As the saying goes, “people make time for who they want to make time for.” If someone matters to you, then you make time in your schedule for them.
So that’s one of the many topics I’ve been able to reflect on in this past year since I had more time to think about things. Otherwise, I still made time to make fun this year and kept myself busy. I got to do things such as volunteer for job fairs, pick up a volunteer position, work as an English tutor, and be secretary for one of the clubs I’m in as well as continuing to be a student ambassador. So enough of me talking, let’s get into the photo gallery!
This was my last day of summer 2016. 😦 I unexpectedly spent it in Irvine and I got to lounge by this beautiful pool area. It almost felt like I was on vacation here, haha.
Finally picked up my one and only ading and got a west fam picture!

Brunch with a friend at Mama’s on 39 in Huntington Beach! I ordered the green eggs and ham and it was so delicious! We also got bottomless mimosas, hehe.
And that’s most of my year in one photo gallery! I feel like I’m missing some things, but that’s okay. I’m hoping to fill up some of my summer with some adventures before other events happen that will take over my life, haha.
Again, I feel like I did have some fun this year, even though it didn’t feel like it sometimes, haha. I hope this post was enjoyable! If you’re sick of my college posts, this will probably be the last time I talk about it for a while haha, so I’ll be back with fashion and beauty content tomorrow!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
