Welcome back to betweenthehangers! Today I’m going to be doing a review on the Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub (that’s a mouthful!)!

This is one of the products I’ve been using in my daily skincare routine; to see the rest of the products that I use, find out in this post!

This Aveeno product claims to “improve skin tone, texture, and clarity to reveal brighter, more radiant skin.” It has “moisture-rich natural soy extract with smooth, round microbeads” that gently exfoliate and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

It’s supposed to be good for sensitive skin and can be used daily. It’s also oil-free, soap-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic.

Water, Glycerin, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Polyethylene, PEG-16 Soy Sterol, Lauryl Glucoside, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Glycol Distearate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Methylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Fragrance, Laureth-4, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein.

Oily, sensitive, and acne-prone.

The packaging fits with the rest of the Positively Radiant line and it’s not messy. It is fragranced, so if you’re sensitive to fragrance, you might want to avoid this.

The texture is pretty interesting. You don’t feel the microbeads when you squeeze it out or even when you rub it between your fingers, but once you apply it to your skin, you can feel it gently exfoliating.

It also doesn’t feel dry or thick like other exfoliators (ex: St. Ives scrubs). Other scrubs focus more on the granules so that can be a reason why they feel a bit rough on the skin. This product has a thinner texture so it goes onto the skin easily.

My skin does feel softer and smoother afterwards and it’s a gentle scrub. I think this is due to the fact that it’s not a thick texture, so maybe there’s some moisturizing ingredients in this.

I can see how it can be used daily since it doesn’t feel harsh. However, I tend to use this scrub on days when I wear heavy makeup in order to give my skin a deeper cleanse.

I like this scrub, but it’s not holy grail status for me. I’m open to trying out other scrubs, but I do like this product because it’s the most gentle scrub I’ve found so far and doesn’t seem to strip my skin.

This is a very affordable product and can found at your local drugstore. If you’re looking for a scrub that won’t feel too abrasive, I think this is worth trying out!

That’s it for today; thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
