Hello lovelies, another month is about to come to an end, so it’s time for another monthly product review!
I know it’s the typical thing to say, but I feel like this month has flown by. Can you believe in just a few months, it’ll be Christmas again?? Anyways, on to the review!
COLOURPOP ULTRA MATTE LIP IN OUIJI
One of my friends bought me this lippie from Colourpop a while back, but I rarely wore it because it was too bright for my skin tone.
I recently figured out that the best way for me to wear this is with a small amount blended out on the lips. This gives me more of a stain on the lips instead of the look of a liquid lipstick, and now I love it! It’s also perfect for the summer, so I’ll definitely keep wearing this all summer!
BUXOM LIP GLOSS IN CLAIR
I’ve never really been a lip gloss girl, but this is an exception! You may have seen me mention this product in my latest haul post.
This gloss isn’t too opaque, so it’s a natural shade on my lips with some sparkles in it. It has a strong vanilla scent, which I don’t love, but I look past it because I like it so much.
It’s super minty, which is why it’s a plumping lip gloss. I can’t tell if it makes a difference in my lips, but I like to think it does! The mintiness lasts for about an hour and it wears pretty well throughout the day, but you will need to touch up if you eat a meal.
WET ‘N WILD EYESHADOW IN NUTTY
I talked about this shadow in my September Monthly Product Review; I’ve been using it again recently to create a daytime-friendly smokey eye. It’s a warm brown color with shimmer in it, so it’s a really interesting shade.
I’ve just been wanting to add a little more definition to my eyes, so this has been really easy to do. I really like Wet ‘n Wild individual shadows, so I would definitely recommend them because they’re affordable and pigmented.
VASELINE LIP THERAPY FOR ROSY LIPS
I bought this to try out because the packaging was so cute. It adds a little bit of a tint to your lips, but it’s super natural. I still like it though because it’s cute and it is moisturizing. However, it’s not a necessity so it’s a maybe from me!
(Fun fact: Jungkook from BTS wore this for his performance with Zion T. 😂)
NEUTROGENA BEACH DEFENSE SUNSCREEN WITH SPF 70
I’ve never been consistent with wearing sunscreen until I found this product. This doesn’t have the typical sunscreen scent that I hate; instead it has a pleasant fragrance and an SPF of 70 (although I did hear that SPF 50 is the highest level).
I wanted to mention this sunscreen because I’ve been starting to use this consistently, and I even started using it on my face. This isn’t advertised as a facial sunscreen, but I think it’s been helping me control my oily skin! I’ve been testing it with 3 primers that I’m currently trying to finish with good results and it hasn’t broken me out.
I just use a small amount before my primer and it seems to work well with my makeup. I don’t know if this will work for everyone, but so far so good for me and yay for more sun protection!
After wanting these years ago in my Wishlist Wednesday posts, I finally got them! These shoes have gotten me through a lot since I bought them last year as a birthday present to myself. The first time I ever wore them, I had to limp back to my car at school because they were hurting the back of my feet 😢.
But once I broke them in, they’ve become one of my most comfortable pair of shoes and I wear them with almost everything. I recently wore them in my day in LA post because I trusted them to hurt the least from all the walking we did.
Overall, I’ve been loving these shoes and I’ll probably wear them until they fall apart. I also have my eye on other colors and styles, so I’ll definitely be repurchasing in the future!
So that wraps up this month’s monthly product review! Let me know what you’ve been loving or disliking in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
