WISHLIST WEDNESDAY | THE GINGHAM TREND

Gingham is a trend that always comes back in style no matter what. From being a staple print in men’s dress shirts to being everywhere from tops, skirts, and dresses, gingham doesn’t seem to be going anywhere this summer!

I remember first seeing the gingham trend when I was 14 years old. Back then, it was better known as a checkered print, which is basically an interchangeable name for gingham. Every guy and girl seemed to have checkered/gingham shirts and shorts.

Fast forward about 8 years later, and gingham is back in full force, although it is a print that never seems to go away completely.

And now here are some pieces I wouldn’t mind owning!

I don’t typically go for cold-shoulder style tops, but I thought this one was cute, and it’s quite affordable!

I think the idea of gingham skirts are very fashionable. It adds interest to an outfit and this skirt looks like something you could dress up for the office or a lunch date!

This top combines the cold shoulder, ruffle, crop top, and gingham trend all in one! It’s the perfect summer top and I think it would look perfect paired with some white high-waisted shorts and sandals!

I think this top would be more suited for cooler weather, but I’m sure you could get away with wearing this in the summer evenings. I like how it cinches in at the waist to give some shape to the body and the bell sleeves as well.

So that’s all for my Wishlist Wednesday! I hope you enjoyed it and I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
