THE WEEKLY REPLAY ► TOO YOUNG

Hi lovelies, keep on reading to see what I’ve got on repeat recently!

1. TOO YOUNG – AYOKAY FT. BAKER GRACE

2. SUMMERLONG – XYLOS

This is an oldie but a favorite of mine. I remember listening to this years ago and it reminds me of simpler times.

3. ISLAND – WINNER

Time to throw in a couple Korean songs! In my July Monthly Remix, I mentioned that I’m a fan of BTS, but my absolute favorite group is Winner.

They were one of the first Korean groups I listened to, they’re all older/create more mature music, and they’re just as extra and funny as BTS.

4. LOVE ME LOVE ME – WINNER

They came out with 2 comeback songs like last time, and I like both of them.

Island is more tropical (obviously) and Latin vibes, whereas Love Me Love is more like disco, which makes them both fun songs for the summer!

5. KO KO BOP – EXO

Sooo I’ve never paid that much attention to EXO until recently because I figured there has to be a reason why they’re super famous. They recently had a comeback so I decided to check it out.

I wasn’t super into the song at first, but my favorite part of it now is probably the drop after the chorus before they start the next verse. The song has a reggae feel to it with some EDM elements to it, which makes it really interesting to listen to.

And I’ll be ending this week’s playlist here! I feel like I’ve been putting in a lot more k-pop recently, but I swear I’m still loyal to my indie music!

I just find k-pop more interesting than American music at the moment because Korean music seems to be evolving and pushing the boundaries by mixing together so many different music styles.

Anyways, that’s all for today! I’ll see you lovelies tomorrow!
