Hi lovelies, let’s get into today’s outfit of the day!

After thinking long and hard for a title for this outfit, I finally decided on “Almost One of the Boys” because I incorporated masculine elements and dressed it up with some feminine accessories.

I feel like when I was growing up, I had a lot of girl friends, but once I got to college, almost all my close friends were guys. I feel like guys are easy-going and fun to hang out with, whereas it’s more energetic and exciting to be with girls, especially in a group setting.

I especially remember being the only girl in a lot of situations, so I sometimes felt like one of the boys too. My closest friends will probably always remain girls, but I do enjoy the different dynamics of hanging out with guys vs. girls.

Fashion-wise though, I feel like my style has evolved over the years into mixing masculine and feminine items to play around with different looks.

Earrings – Forever 21

The foundation of this outfit is tucking a t-shirt into boyfriend jeans and then pairing it with block heels. I then added some accessories such as earrings and a bracelet to dress it up a bit.

Honestly, I threw this outfit together when I did this photoshoot, but I like what I came up with.

Bag – Steve Madden

I’ve only worn this top a few times, but I really like it. It’s a men’s shirt from Forever 21 and I love the tapestry print.

Lips – Ouiji from Colourpop (I dabbed this onto my lips for more of a stain effect)

Jeans – Uniqlo

I can’t even tell you how excited I was when I finally got my hands on some ripped boyfriend jeans. These have been in style for a while, but I only picked these up a couple months ago.

The only thing about these jeans is that you’ll probably need to size down; I’m usually a 27 waist, but for some reason size 23 fit me the best.

Shoes – Payless

I really like these block heels from Payless. I’ve mentioned it many times before, but Payless makes the most comfy shoes for my feet, and these are no exception! I wore these all day with very minimal pain, so I recommend these!

So that ends today’s outfit of the day post! I hope you enjoyed it! And thank you to my friend JK for doing this shoot with me; his Instagram account is @jk_562, so go check out his work there! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you lovelies again soon!
