Hi lovelies, it’s time to share another playlist with y’all because I’ve discovered a lot of new music recently so here are some of my current favorites!

I’ve always been into R&B and indie vibes, and even when I was discovering Korean music I was drawn towards K-indie and K hip-hop songs, but I think this is me going back towards American music.

I think this is a song I could put on repeat and not get sick of it because it flows so nicely and it’s easy to get lost in it. I’ve also been enjoying some of his other songs, but I think I’ll add more when my monthly playlist comes around.

I love the beat of this song and it has a sexy feel to it.

I stumbled on this song in my SoundCloud recommendations and I ended up really liking it. It has a really strong mix of English and Korean, so you’ll be able to understand more of the song compared to other Korean music.

I don’t know anything about the artist, but I also stumbled on this song a while ago. It’s just an instrumental, but the piano really resonated with me. I feel like there’s sadness and longing within the song but it’s also calming to listen to.

When it comes to Korean music, I have to recommend 2 full albums this time around because I’ve been listening to both of these nonstop and I really like all the songs.

First up is B.A.P’s “NOIR.” B.A.P is quite an underrated group, but I’ve been loving this album that they released last year. From what I know, I think they’re more known for rock music, which isn’t typically the type of music that goes mainstream in Korea.

This album goes from a jazzy James Bond type of intro (“Le Noir”) to intense songs such as “Skydive” and “Pray” that could be movie soundtracks and then a couple of funky/pop songs added in (“Chiquita”). I really like the variety of songs that were offered here.

This album took me by surprise when I was trying to expand my horizons on the Korean artists I currently listen to (I usually only have WINNER, BTS, and B.A.P. on repeat). My favorite song on this album would have to be “Coming Home,” but I find all of them enjoyable to listen to. I don’t know much about GOT7, but I do like JJ Project as a unit group!

So that ends my playlist for this week! Let me know if you’ve listened to any of these songs in the comments below and leave any recommendations you have as well! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you lovelies soon!
