ALEXANDER WANG

Alexander Wang is easily one of the more recognizable names in the industry with his success as a designer, and this year he came back with yet another black collection with some splashes of hot pink and white.

Wang’s inspiration this time around came from wanting to show a different, corporate side of him compared to the “partying side” that’s more known. While many of the pieces wouldn’t actually work in a typical work environment, we can still admire these designs that give off a platinum CEO and futuristic vibe.

This is also Wang’s last NYFW appearance; he has decided to join the pre-collection schedule that takes place in New York during June and December.

VICTORIA BECKHAM

To celebrate Beckham’s 10th year as a designer, this year she released a collection that followed the trends of street style and athleisure wear while focusing on suiting in military shades.

She accessorized with strappy belts to accentuate the waist as well as extremely oversized tote bags.

RALPH LAUREN // SPRING 2018 RELEASE

Ralph Lauren made an attempt to sweep the audience away into vacation mode amidst tough political times with a navy blue and white color palette that later transformed into a rainbow of hues and inspiration from his villa in Jamaica. Some of the models went barefoot, while other pieces would suit black-tie engagements out on the water or casual beach events.

CAROLINA HERRERA

This will be Herrera’s last show as she hands over her title to Wes Gordon, who has been designing by her side for years. Her show stayed true to her signature style of clean and smart pieces that showcased the power of simplicity, as well as powerful, bold colors shown in ball gowns and full skirts.
