Hello lovelies! Today I’m back with another haul, but this time I’ll be sharing some of my current favorite stationery and self-care products!
I purchased most of these items a while ago, but I started using them more recently and I’ve really been enjoying them!
BATH & BODY WORKS AROMATHERAPY STRESS RELIEF LOTION
One of my first favorites is this lotion from Bath & Body Works. It has eucalyptus and spearmint oil and it’s supposed to help with relieving stress. I don’t know if this really helps with stress, but lately I’ve been using it before bed on my hands and neck so I can take in the aroma before sleeping. So far, I’ve been enjoying it that way because it’s a nice way to unwind before falling asleep.
Bath & Body Works also has several other fragrances that help with sleeping, gaining energy, and focusing, but I like this scent the most out of all of them. It has an herbal scent with a hint of mint.
BATH & BODY WORKS LAVENDER AND SANDALWOOD BODY OIL
Next up, I’ve been starting to use this body oil in a couple different ways. I heard that adding essential oils to your shower is a great way to relax before bed, so I’ve been testing it out, but I haven’t figured out the best method yet. Right now, I’ve been adding a few drops to the floor of my shower, but I find it washes away too quickly. I was thinking of either using the shower wall or washcloth technique to see how it works and I’ll update y’all in a future post! I’ve also been using it on my feet to moisturize them.
This lavender and sandalwood combination is sweet and relaxing. It’s not my favorite fragrance ever, but if you like scents that are on the sweeter side, you’ll probably enjoy this! I’m not sure if they still sell this, but I’m sure there are many other scents to try as well.
ALDI STATIONERY KIT
Aldi is a grocery store that opened a year or two ago in my city, but besides all the healthier foods they sell, they also have amazing deals on seemingly random items. They sell everything from lawnmowers, gazebos, storage solutions, clothes, and more for a limited time. I personally like shopping there because everything is so affordable.
With that being said, I picked up this stationery set and I’ve used all these items in my room. The mail holder in the top left corner was exactly what I had in mind when I was looking for a way to store my eyeshadow palettes. With this, they’re in clear view and it helps me make sure I use them instead of forgetting about them.
I use the pencil cup to hold my larger makeup brushes and the square container to hold the new beauty products I’ve bought and need to try out. And the small rectangular container currently holds thumbtacks and miscellaneous items. So basically, I mostly used this stationery set for beauty products haha, but they work perfectly for my setup!
And now we have some Daiso items! I’ve used the fabric paper in a flatlay before, and I’ve been trying to incorporate the washi tape into my bullet journal.
With the fabric paper, I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be used as origami paper, but I thought it would be a good way to add some depth and extra details to my flatlays. Here’s one example where I used them:
I prefer simple flatlays, but at the same time, I’m still learning, so I’m hoping to get better at my flatlay skills and use these more often!
And lastly, bullet journaling has been something I’ve enjoyed looking at on Instagram and trying out for the last couple years. Personally, my layouts are not very aesthetically pleasing because I don’t really dedicate time to it, so I’d probably never show mine, haha. But I love admiring all those accounts who do put so much effort into their journals because they’re so pretty.
Even though I’m not one to spend a lot of time on my journal, I wanted to spruce it up, so I picked out this washi tape from Daiso because it’s affordable and it was the only one I liked out of the selection they had at the time. I also promised myself that if I take my bullet journal seriously, then I’ll invest in more supplies. But so far, this seems to be doing the trick!
And these are the stationery and self-care items I’ve been using lately! If I’m being completely honest, I bought most of these products a long time ago, but I’ve been so behind on hauls that it didn’t go up until now. I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless and I’ll see you lovelies soon! What are your favorite stationery or self-care products?
