Happy Valentine’s Day! Here’s an outfit of the day that I think is super cute for this occasion!

Before we go any further, I will say I’m on the Single Awareness Day side of things. I don’t think I’ve ever had a proper Valentine’s Day and I don’t see it happening anytime soon either, haha. But that’s okay! Like I saw on Twitter last night, Valentine’s Day ain’t nothin’ but a Taco Tuesday, right? 🙂

Anyways, on to the OOTD!

Wearing pink is a very rare thing for me; I actually really hate pink. But in recent months, I’ve started to embrace peachy pinks/blush pinks/pastel pinks. The only time I’ll ever go near an actual pink shade is when it comes to lipsticks, and even then they’re usually pinky nude colors.

But when I saw this oversized fluffy pink sweater, I knew I had to have it. It’s quite large and chunky, and from the side I look like a chubby bunny, but I don’t care because I feel like a super cute ball of fluff when I wear this. 🙂

Sweater – thrifted

I much prefer texture over prints and text on clothes, so I love being able to feel how soft it is. Whenever I wear this, I just want to rub my face all over it (but I can’t cause makeup).

Since the top is quite bulky, I streamlined everything else with black jeans and black ankle boots. The heel helps to elongate my legs and make me look a little slimmer.

This sweater is a little outside of my comfort zone since it’s different from the pieces I usually buy, but I love it. If we’re talking Valentine’s Day, this would work for a cute, casual date with your significant other.

Otherwise, if we’re talking Single Awareness  Day, then this outfit works for just about anything you want to do. And if you end up just staying in and chilling, you could even watch a movie and nap in this because it’s so soft, haha.
