BEAUTY HAULS MAKEUP SKIN DEEP

HAULED IT & TRIED IT | A VERY LATE INNISFREE HOLIDAY HAUL

So I know I’m really really late with this haul, but I still wanted to post it because why not? Some of the items were limited edition and only available during the holidays, but some of them are regular items that you can find on their site! So with that being said, let’s get into it!

MY LIP BALM PARTY TRIO

First up is this set of full-size lip balms; I purchased a different set last year and ended up loving them. Since then, I’ve been using them so much that I’ve neglected my lipstick collection. I love how moisturizing they are while adding a beautiful tint to my lips. It’s tinted and glossy enough that I don’t have to apply a lipstick or lip gloss on top. Plus, they smell/taste delicious.

I would highly recommend getting your hands on these; they were a game-changer for me. If I could only own 1 lip product, it would be these lip balms! They’re still up on their website although it does say limited and I’ve seen these being sold at Sephora so go get them! 🙂

GREEN HOLIDAYS GLOW ON! DEW-LICIOUS MASK MENU

Next is this set of sheet masks. I love getting sets because it allows me to try things out for a good value! This set contains 13 masks with lots of different choices from rice to fig to manuka honey. I like to use these when I want to pamper myself, but ideally I’d love to use them once a week or every other week. Unfortunately, the set is no longer available but you can buy them as singles instead!

PORE CLEARING CLAY MASK WITH VOLCANIC CLUSTERS

Next up, I got the Pore Clearing Clay Mask with Volcanic Clusters. After trying a couple samples of this, I loved it and finally decided to buy the full size. Whenever I use this, I feel like my skin looks much cleaner and brighter and I also enjoy how the clay is absorbing impurities and oils so I can apply actives and hydrating products on clean skin afterwards.

I try to use this once or twice a week since I do wear a full face of makeup on most days. A little goes a long way because it spreads very well and there’s no unpleasant scents or difficulties when applying it and washing it off.

GREEN HOLIDAYS PERFUMED HAND CREAM SET

The last set I purchased was this set of hand lotions. After trying a couple of them, I’ve been hooked and I was excited to see this trio because of the pretty designs and scents. This time, they gave small wedding bouquet, yuja tea, and pink coral. I’ve tried yuja tea, which is like a citrusy lemongrass scent, but I’m excited to see what the other two smell like (I hear small wedding bouquet is a popular scent!).

I really like these hand lotions because they absorb into the skin well and smell amazing. This past winter has made my hands dry for the first time, so it was nice to have them on hand (hehe couldn’t help it ?) to use throughout the day. I wouldn’t say they’re a must-have, but I love having them in these small travel sizes so I can always throw them into my purse on the go.

INTENSIVE HYDRATING SERUM WITH GREEN TEA SEED

Of course, I had to repurchase the green tea serum once again. I’ve been using this daily for over 2 years since its debut in my first Innisfree haul! It can feel a little too hydrating at times for my oily skin, but over time my skin has gotten used to it and now it drinks this serum up. There’s a reason why this is one of Innisfree’s most popular products!

This time, I was able to get my hands on the holiday version, which is twice the size of the original bottle and it’s worth the price! Plus, the beautiful designs from this past holiday season were created by Jordy van den Nieuwendijk, an artist from the Netherlands (he also created the designs on the hand lotions!), so it makes this serum even prettier to use.

CICA TONER WITH BIJA SEED OIL

This is something new I wanted to try since they don’t have the blemish care toner anymore (which I really loved 🙁 ). I was expecting this to be the same consistency, but it’s actually quite different. It’s more of a milky lotion and doesn’t necessarily tone the skin as it does moisturize it. To me, it’s a good thin and light moisturizing product and I like to use it in the morning before makeup or at night if I feel like my skin needs it. The bija fruit essence is meant to improve the look of imperfections and balance skin.

LIP SLEEPING MASK WITH GREEN TEA

The last item I purchased was a lip sleeping mask. I’ve been wanting to see what the deal is about these lip masks, but I wasn’t ready to spend $20+ on one before finding out if they actually work. But lo and behold, they do work.

This lip sleeping mask is a thick balm that melts into your lips when you apply it. With clean hands, I usually just rub my finger into it and apply to my lips before bed. If they feel especially dry, I might also use it in the morning before applying other lip products on top. I wouldn’t recommend using it during the daytime just because it feels a little heavy, but if you’re dealing with dry weather, then this would be good to carry in your bag.

When I got this, it was on sale for less than $10, but it’s still in an affordable range when you look at all the other brands.

And now onto the freebies! Something I love about Innisfree is how they always give out so many free products with their orders. Sometimes I need to tell myself I don’t need them because I have sensitive, acne-prone skin so it takes me a while to test everything out, and even then I’m hesitant because I’m afraid of my skin breaking out. However, most if not all of Innisfree products have never hurt my skin or caused me to break out so far. 🙂

WONDER BOX

So this is the Festive Wonder Box I received as part of one of their holiday promotions. It came with 2 anti-aging masks, a lipstick, and the Vitalizing Aloe Sleeping Mask!

I don’t think I need the anti-aging masks, so I’m hoping my mom might want to try them! In the photo above, I also snuck in the 2 samples I chose for my order as well. I’m not too keen on trying out the Dewy Glow Jelly Cream with Jeju Cherry Blossom because I don’t want to try too many new products, but I am curious about it so the sample size is perfect. I’m also excited to try out the Pore Clearing Clay Mask 2x with Super Volcanic Clusters to see if it works even better than the original!

This is the Vitalizing Sleeping Mask with Aloe that was included in the Wonder Box. I was super surprised to see such a cool full-size product included in this box! This normally retails for $18 and it comes with a lot of product. I recently started using it and my thoughts so far are that it’s light and refreshing; however, it’s not as hydrating as other sleeping masks I’ve tried.

That being said, I think people with super oily skin would benefit from this and it would also be good for the summer when you don’t want to layer heavy products on. But overall, I think this is definitely something that needs to be incorporated into a routine and not used alone because I don’t think it provides enough moisture.

And the last item in the box was a lipstick! Their lipsticks are super pigmented and creamy and this color is to die for. It’s a deep red, making it perfect for the holidays or on those days where you feel like wearing a red lip!

BRIGHTENING & PORE-CARING TRIO KIT

Another freebie I got was this brightening and pore-caring trio kit. It comes with a cream, serum, and sleeping mask that’s perfect for testing out or traveling. I have tried the serum before, but that was one product where I didn’t love it because it didn’t do much for me. I am curious about the other 2 products though!

GLOW ESSENTIALS 3-PIECE SET & POUCH

And finally, the last item I received from this order for free was a 3-piece set in a beautiful holographic pouch that’ll be perfect for traveling! I’ve already used the pouch for a day where I needed to make my makeup last for over 12 hours so I carried blotting sheets, a concealer, a brush, and a mirror to touch up through the day and it fit perfectly in my everyday purse!

Inside, there are 3 items: the Brightening and Pore-caring Sleeping Mask, the Youth-Enriched Cream with Orchid, and the Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea Seed in travel size form.

I’ve already given the orchid cream to my mom, but I don’t know if I want to keep the other two. ?

And now we’ve finally made it to the end of this post! I truly love Innisfree products and I can’t wait to try everything out; let me know what your favorite products are in the comments. 🙂 Hilariously, I actually have another order on the way right now since I ran out of a couple things and ended up ordering a bunch of other products so be on the lookout for another haul in the near future. ? Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies soon!
