BEAUTY HAULS SKIN DEEP

HAULED IT & TRIED IT | I TESTED SOME INNISFREE PRODUCTS!

Hello there lovelies, today I’m back with some Innisfree products that I’ve been testing over the last few months so if you’re interested in my thoughts, then just keep on reading!

INNISFREE BLEMISH CARE EMULSION WITH BIJA SEED OIL

The first item I’ve been trying out is the Innisfree blemish care emulsion with bija seed oil. I like to use it under makeup during the day to create a barrier between my skin and makeup in the hopes that it’ll help prevent breakouts. If I’m currently breaking out, then I’ll also use it at nighttime so it can work on my skin while I’m sleeping.

I decided to get the full-size product after trying it out in the set I got in my last Innisfree order and so far, I’m still enjoying it. In the past, salicyclic acid didn’t work on my acne and I had to use benzoyl peroxide instead. But now I’ve noticed my skin changing over the last couple of years and found that my skin reacts positively to salicyclic acid.

This emulsion has 0.6% salicyclic acid and has more of an earthy/herbal scent that takes a little time to get used to but I really like it now. I would definitely recommend if you have acne-prone skin and are looking for something easy to use.

INNISFREE BLEMISH CARE TONER WITH BIJA SEED OIL

Next up is this Innisfree blemish care toner. I decided to get it because I was in the market to try something new and you also get a lot more for the price in comparison to my Pixi Glow tonic. This also has 0.6% salicylic acid so it’s better suited for people with acne-prone skin and has a similar scent to the emulsion. It’s light on the skin and doesn’t feel tacky or sting so I like to use this both in the daytime and nighttime depending on the condition of my skin.

INNISFREE CLARIFYING FACIAL FOAM WITH BIJA SEED OIL

The last item I got in this set of bija seed oil products is this Innisfree clarifying facial foam. After trying out the travel size version, I was really looking forward to getting the full size. Since it’s a foaming face wash, it really cleans the skin and removes dirt, oils, and any leftover makeup that might not have come off in the initial cleanse.

It’s not made with sulfates, so it won’t strip the skin, but I wouldn’t recommend if your skin is on the drier side. If you have a foaming cleanser, it’s important to make sure that you balance it out with moisturizing products afterwards. I love using this after I remove my makeup at the end of the day.

INNISFREE YUJA TEA HAND LOTION

After picking up this hand lotion in the black tea scent a while ago, I couldn’t help but pick up another one to throw in my bag or to travel with. If you like citrusy scents, then you’ll love this one. I typically try to avoid scents that are overly sweet, so I really like how fresh this smells!

INNISFREE MOISTURIZING SERUM WITH OLIVE

I got the Innisfree moisturizing serum with olive for free during a promotion and I’ve tested it out several times. It smells really nice and it’s a thicker consistency compared to other serums I’ve tried. It’s very hydrating, so I think people with dry skin would enjoy it. Since I have oily skin, I haven’t been able to use this often and I plan on saving it for the winter months when my skin might need the extra moisture.

INNISFREE REAL FIT LIPSTICK IN #3 WARM CHERRY RED

Lastly, I also received this lipstick for free in the promotion and this is one of their real fit lipsticks. It’s meant to be moisturizing while also adding pigment to your lips.

I was really excited to try this lipstick out, but it looks like it doesn’t match my skin tone as well as I was hoping it would. It definitely lives up to its claim of being pigmented since you only need a little to get a good color payoff. I’ll probably test it with different lipliners to shift the color into a better match for me.

If you like bright colors, you’ll definitely enjoy this. On the website, it’s shade #3 and it’s called warm cherry red. Even though it’s a warm shade, it’s a bit too bright for my liking.

And that’s what I’ve been testing out from Innisfree lately! Let me know if you’ve tried anything from them recently and what your thoughts are in the comments below. Thanks so much for reading and I’ll see you lovelies soon!
