WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO
The Milani Make It Last Setting Spray Prime + Correct + Set claims to keep your makeup in place for up to 16 hours without fading, smudging, or creasing. It can be worn under makeup as a primer or used on top to create a flawless matte look.
FRAGRANCE AND APPLICATION
I didn’t notice any strong fragrance. The spray was a fine mist that I was able to apply evenly over my face. After using it, my skin looked less powdery and my base looked smooth.RESULTS
I didn’t notice a huge difference in how my makeup lasted compared to other setting sprays such as my Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day setting spray (review here!). Since I have such oily skin, makeup typically lasts for 6-8 hours on my skin before needing to touch up. With this setting spray, I got oily within that time period, so it didn’t deliver better results than other products I’ve tried.
THE VERDICT
Because of my allergic reaction/breakouts to this product, I ended up returning it. Another factor was how it wasn’t a standout product because I still got oily. Ideally, I’d like to be able to put on makeup and not have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I’m not asking for 24-hour wear, but I’d like to look decent at the end of an 8-12 hour day. But alas, I guess my journey continues to find holy grail products. My current favorite setting spray is the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day and although I still get oily with that spray as well, it helps my makeup last longer than the other ones I’ve tried. Unfortunately, I won’t be using or repurchasing the Milani setting spray again.

Hey Annie, I tried reaching you some time ago about a collab but never heard anything back from you. Thought I’d try again via the comments as my mail perhaps didn’t reach you. If you’re open for collabs I’d love to get in touch with you. Feel free to write directly to my email emily@blogerize.com if you’re interested. Thanks 🙂
