Happy Friday lovelies! I hope you’re all having a wonderful morning, afternoon, or evening; today I have an outfit of the day!

This is a simple, casual outfit with small details that add a little bit of quirkiness and interest to the ensemble.

Top – thrifted

I thrifted this shirt and I fell in love with it immediately. I love stripes, and little sayings or patches in the corner of the shirt have been a trend for a little while now. I like this trend because it lends something different to the shirt without being too in your face.

It’s probably something you won’t regret buying, and if you happen to fall out of love with it one day, it can turn into a new pajama shirt!

Hoop earrings – Forever 21

I’ve also been loving wavy hair lately. It styles my hair without me having to put too much effort into it but it’s nothing too fancy either!

How I achieve this: I just put my hair into one french braid before I go to sleep and I make sure my braid is in for at least 8 hours. Sometimes I’ll even drive to school or work with it and then take it out because it doesn’t take much time to fix it up after that!

I have very straight hair, so curls and waves can fall easily if I don’t keep my braid in overnight or use the right products. If I want to make sure my hairstyle has extra staying power, then I’ll also massage some mousse into my hair before I braid it!

Anyways, back to the shirt! I bought this specifically for the quirky little patch on it! It’s a heart with a mustache, top hat, and a monocle. I thought this was so cute and funny that I had to get it!

It was a size extra large, but when I tried it on, it wasn’t too oversized. Plus, with the sizing of the fashion industry these days, you can never really tell what size anything is anymore. So I happily bought it, regardless of size. ☺

Jeans – Old Navy

Even though the color scheme of this outfit is just black and white, I feel like it still looks put together and somewhat interesting!

Shoes – Converse

Hoop earrings are also something I’ve been getting into. I find that it makes me look a little different so I don’t mind popping them on every once in a while.
