I recently purchased some more Innisfree products to test out; let’s take a look!
VITALIZING SOOTHING GEL WITH ALOE
I’ve used aloe vera gel in my body and skincare routines for years now and while I don’t think it’s a necessity, it’s nice to have on those days when you want a light and refreshing moisturizer.
What’s great about this gel is that you can use it on your face and body. I personally like to use it on hot summer days because it sinks into my skin instantly, doesn’t leave behind a sticky residue, and cools me down, especially when you apply it all over your body!
INNISFREE HYDRATING TRIO
I’m quite excited to try this trio because there are 2 products I’ve never tried before. The first one is the Hydrating Micellar Cleansing Water with Green Tea. I’ve used micellar water before but I’ve never tried one from Innisfree so I’m interested to see how it performs.
The next product is the Intensive Hydrating Eye Cream with Green Tea Seed. I’ve never used eye creams so I think this one will be a good beginner product to test out.
And lastly, I have a mini Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea Seed. I’ve used and loved this serum for almost 3 years now so I’ll probably pull this out when I’m running out of my current bottle.
CICA MASK WITH BIJA SEED OIL
This sheet mask is formulated with bija seed oil and centella asiatica to help soothe and heal the skin. I was interested in this mask because if it works, I think it would be great to add into a skincare routine if you have acne-prone skin. I’ll let y’all know how it works when I try it out!
INTENSE UV PROTECTION CREAM WITH BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 50+
I purchased this sunscreen years ago (see the haul here!) and after trying out an Aveeno sunscreen, I thought it was time to go back to this one. I remember enjoying this under makeup and I love how it has SPF 50+. However, the only downside to this is that it does leave a white cast on your skin since it’s a mineral sunscreen.
I would say I have a light medium complexion so it barely passes the white cast test and slightly brightens my skin. However, in some lighting, the white cast is visible. It evens out my skin tone, adds some moisture, and dries to a soft matte finish so I like it overall, but I would prefer wearing it under makeup.
CLARIFYING CLEANSING FOAM WITH BIJA SEED OIL
I mentioned this product in my May Monthly Product Review and I still like it! It’s a foaming cleanser that has salicylic acid and other ingredients to clean the skin without stripping it. It’s gentle enough on my skin that I can use it every night as my second cleanse but foams up to really get into my skin so it feels soft and clean afterwards.
MATTE MINERAL SETTING POWDER
This is also known as the No Sebum Powder and it’s one of Innisfree’s popular products. It’s a translucent powder that’s great for setting the skin. I still get oily with this, but when used with my favorite base products, I get a good 6 hours of wear before needing to touch up.
I haven’t found a powder that keeps me matte all day long, so I can’t penalize this product for that. It also comes with a puff and it’s a very finely-milled powder.
GLOW TINT LIP BALM IN #1
I love Innisfree’s lip balms, so I thought I’d try out another lip product from them. This is called the Glow Tint Lip Balm and it comes in several shades. I chose #1 because I thought it looked like a light peach color.
When you first apply it, it gives you a slight wash of color, but it changes in a few minutes. On my lips, it turned into a reddish peach color, which is much different than what I was expecting, but I still like it. This lip balm can be worn alone or to finish off a makeup look, but I personally prefer it with makeup since it packs more color than a regular tinted lip balm.
CICA BALM WITH BIJA SEED OIL
I’ve mentioned the Cica Balm before in this haul and I’m not so clueless about using it now like I was before, haha. I like this balm for its texture and how moisturizing it is. If I use it at night, then it’s the last product I use before bed. If I apply in the morning, then I also use it as the last product in my routine before applying makeup. It’s thicker than a moisturizer so I use it sparingly in places where my skin might be peeling or feeling dry.
For instance, whenever I do extractions on my face, my skin tends to peel a bit afterwards, especially on my nose. If I wear foundation, it’ll accentuate those areas. This is the only product that moisturizes and smoothes out my peeling skin when I apply foundation and powder. I haven’t been getting much use out of it lately because I’ve been going foundation-free, but I enjoy using it at night to treat myself when my acne is flaring up or when my skin feels dehydrated.
And that wraps up today’s haul! Like I said earlier, I’ve used Innisfree products for almost 3 years now and I’ve enjoyed almost every product I’ve tried because of how gentle they are (and no, I’m not being sponsored to say this. But I wish I was haha!). This brand introduced me to the world of Korean skincare and my skin started improving a lot after using their products so I always recommend them to everyone. Let me know what your favorite Innisfree products are in the comments below and I’ll see you lovelies soon ?
