AN ULTA HAUL

Happy Monday lovelies! I’ve got a Makeup Monday post for you all today!

Today, I have a mini Ulta haul with things that I bought a little while ago. I’ve been testing all of these items as well so I’ll be doing a product review on some of them in the upcoming months!

I bought the travel size version of the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer after seeing it being advertised on various social media platforms. After reading some reviews, I saw that it wasn’t very effective on oily skin types, but I decided to try it nonetheless.

What’s my verdict? I’m still undecided after trying it out for a while, but you’ll see my final thoughts in my upcoming November Product Review!

This is the ever so popular Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I’ve talked about it before in a collective haul and back in my July Product Review but I was never sold on the product because I didn’t think it kept my oils at bay. However, I noticed a significant difference when I stopped using it so I ended up repurchasing the full size bottle, but I still don’t love it.

So many people rave about this product keeping their makeup in place all day, but I don’t get those results. It does keep me from getting as oily as fast, but by the 5 or 6 hour mark, I’m shiny and when I blot, a lot of product and oils come off. I’m thinking of trying the L’Oreal spray since it’s supposed to be a similar and less expensive formula, but at this point, I’m also thinking of changing up my foundation and primer to see if that makes a difference.

This is the Urban Decay Grindhouse sharpener. I can’t remember what post it was, but I read somewhere that you need to use this sharpener with the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners in order to get the best results with that liner.

I’ve also heard that the Essence sharpeners are almost an exact dupe for this, but I will admit, I chose the UD one for the packaging. This has been a good sharpener and I find that it’s sharpened my Rimmel and UD liners well; now I just hope it’s worth the money and it doesn’t break down on me anytime soon.

So that’s my mini Ulta haul; I hope you enjoyed it and keep an eye out for my future November Product Review to see if I review more than just the Smashbox Primer!
